i really like the generally cool and warm tones accross both images, and the defined subjuct matter, great job

Lovely tones, texture and contrast in both images..I prefer the composition in #2 though.

i agree with all the above, but i think both images would be better if the highlights weren't blown out.

Some may tell you that it is cropped a little tight. But, since I too am a cropper (working on that), I have to say- I love #2! The decay is actually beautiful.

i think anyone who says you shouldn't crop is wack. whether you crop in the camera or after the shot, the crop is an essential part of the composition, right?
