Does anyone have the new 70-300 DO IS USM?

Does anyone already have the new DO lens, the 70-300 DO IS USM? What's it like - image quality, size, weight, etc.? Is it worth the money?

I'm interested in this lens, because it's small and inconspicuous - I can't imagine myself walking on the street with a big, fat, white 70-200 L.

There has been quite alot of talk about this lens the last few days

The general concensus seems to be that it has an L price tag but is not as sharp as one :? It is better than the other options in that range though-the 75-300 and 100-300
For discrete photography it could well be worth the money....
