Interesting looking spider Werner - I'm not sure if it's a Lynx spider or not, but it is a male.

Nice shot but it has to be said that your hoya close-up lens is letting you down with bad chromatic aberration. I would swap it for a corrected one by Canon or Raynox.

I saw the spider (and yes, it is a Lynx spider) moving up to that piece of wood, and there it stayed, probably thinking, nobody can see it ;).
Yes, I know about that purple fringing of the hoya lens, and I would love to get the Raynox lenses, but I guess the ring flash won't fit :(
