On average, how often do you guys (and ladies!) get out and shoot? A quick snapshot doesn't count. I figure I get out anywhere from a couple times a week to every few weeks.

Anytime I can.

I'm always trying to find a reason to go out and shoot, but due to my job I can only got out to shoot on the weekends. I would spend all Saturdays and Sundays out shooting, but then I'd lose my girlfriend...I gotta balance my free time between my camera and my girlfriend... :)

With that said, I do it once or twice a week...

Once a week at least, I always either have a wedding or single, couple or family pictures on the weekend scheduled.

at least 3 times per week in the spring/summer/fall. Then in the winter only like 1 day a week as it is dark when I get off.

I take my camera to work with me everyday. I have a 45 mile commute each way and I take nothing but back roads. I take several different routes depending on the weather and it's usually getting about sunset. I also have an hour lunch and I'll pull the camera out and just walk around out back and use that time to experiment with settings. On the weekends when my chores are done I take the Jeep out for a ride in the country or down to Land Between the Lakes for several hours and take a few dozen shots.

For those of us who are amateurs, I think this question depends less on our interest in photography than on the other constraints in our lives. I don't shoot too often, but that's mainly because I'm busy and tired.

Ya know...I've noticed that it depends on my mood. If I'm happy and energetic....it's every flippen day. If I'm down in the dumps....I might miss an entire week without picking up the camera.
On average though....4 times a week I'm actually up posing and snapping away....usually with my kids though. LOL

I don't get out with my camera very often. And, I keep chiding myself about that. I have no excuse, I think I'm just lazy. I have gear that I haven't even used yet. I'm thinking about resolving to do better about this, but a nap first sounds pretty good just about now.

I spent WAY too much money on my newbie rig to let it sit. My woman gets on my case when I buy a new toy and then let it start to sit after a couple of weeks. I actually like that! Because of her, I was driving home and stopped to get several neat shots of thunder storm moving in.

I shoot something at least once a week, but I'm daily playing, snapping, just getting to know my cam better, playing with settings. Doesn't have to be a stellar subject to learn something cool.

Summer, 2-4 times a week. Winter, not much at all, 2-3 times a month.

Daily. I do it for pay.

I would like to get out much more than I do... Why don't I? Well, it is a combo of laziness and exhaustion. When work, household and GF has been taken care of there is not that much time left. But sometimes, it's all about getting out of the couch... I've started bringing the cam with me always - even to and from work - so if I get the opportunity I won't miss it because my gear is at home. However, as I preferably shoot landscapes that takes a bit of planning ahead. Well, we'll see if can some way to solve the time issue...

During the spring I am shooting everyday at least the equivalent of 2 rolls of film. I live on a farm/nursery so this time of year is lots of fun with ducklings on our pond and out annuals flowering and everything. Plenty of shutter and lens fodder. Summer is the same, though usually more because of summer softball.

Winter and fall are slightly less.

Everyday, once in a while I might miss a day.

Have a back log of images, that need PP, so maybe I should stop shooting for a little bit, Nah!!! Winter's just around the corner!!!LOL

in the last 2 months 7000 clicks, fun, fun.
