Judging for the very disappointing "SLOW" transfer speed of the first Belkin device, does anybody have any experience if this new gizmo is much faster??
Thanks

If you are already committed to Ipod this may be a good thing, but the FlashTrax can play MP3s as well as videos, store your images, and display them, too! And, no adapter required for CF cards.

Given that limited battery life is a meaningful issue with any of these transfer devices, I cannot see why anyone would want to use it as an MP3 player. I think that one of the stand alone, non-HD MP3 players would serve better as a supplement. Given the battery life issue, I am afraid that the MP3 use is just a marketing "feature" at this time.

the belkin device. I think i read a recent review that says you could only do about 3 1Gig cards on a full battery. Also if being able to actually see your picutres to confirm they are really there is important...

their website sez it will transfer a 128MB card in 3-5 minutes. That means a 1gig card will take 24-40 minutes. You better be ready to take a nap......
