Hello all! I've been trolling around a for awhile now and have come to absolutely love IR photo's.

Question is what camera do you think would be the best bang for your buck for me to purchase for this adventure:

D30, D60, 10D, 20D, 30D, 5D, Digital Rebel (300D), Digital Rebel XT (350D), Digital Rebel XTi (400D) & PowerShot G2, G3, G5, G6, G7, S3 IS and SD800 IS

I'm no money bags so that takes away just about half the list. The one that almost has me sold is the 10D, because you can get one on ebay for less than $500... Any other suggestions?

All pro's feel free to comment ;)

If you're primarily interested in IR, what not get a D30 or D60 and get it converted to IR only?

Or spend $50 on a used film Rebel G and buy some Kodak HIE film.

People wax poetic about HIE -- it's the best IR film and IR effect ever. Do some web searches to see images from it.

That's definitely the least expensive route. :)
