I'm just not sure. I like it....I think. But then I wonder if it looks too contrived. All thoughts welcomed.

If you don't like it it, it looks so easy to clone out given its location. The water is nice,I like the green.

That's just it...I DO like it, but I'm curious if the bird should appear that big when cast against Niagara.

No, it is not too big. Pic from the Taple Rock area brink, and it only shows a small portion of the Horshoe Falls. It works.

You could always extract it and scale it down. I think it looks nice.

it breaks up the white space.. leave it... Agree. provides balance and enhances composition. /Dan

Did you add the bird after? Its just i'm trying to picture where it has flow from in the scene to be at that angle.
My eye tells me i should be looking down on it, or maybe it would be flying in the other direction showing it back to me up over the falls. If you didn't add it then Its probably me not apreciating the scale of the shot.
Just my 2 penny worth.

I did insert the bird in Photoshop. The picture of the falls however, was taken pointing just down from horizontal. So an orientation of the bird with it's back to you would mean the gull would be flying sideways. I photographed the bird flying above the falls only a couple frames later.

I really like this shot!!! The bird is perfect. Great tight crop of the waterfall.

I like it the way it is. Remember, the size of the bird is a function of distance. I can't say that I see anything "wrong" with the perspective or size of the bird. It seems entirely possible as is.

It looks like you plonked it on to me, but I'm in the minority. If you like it then keep it.

Thanks folks for the contiued feedback and for verifying what I already felt. One more question, how big do I print it?
