Here are the before and after of my first attempt at portrait retouching. Please critique so I can improve! Thanks.

D.E.P. Thanks for the reply. I matched the lip color to the red stones in the earrings. In addition;
I whitened the teeth
whites of the eyes
changed color of eyes subtly
retouched blemishes
smoothed skin with surface blur, masking eyes, mouth, earrings, and hair
sharpened eyes
Did I overdo or miss anything? Really, this is the first time I've done this and any pointers will be greatly appreciated!

I'd try and add some more of the make-up colour to her right eye (left on the photo) to balance it more.
Good job otherwise

Thanks Jay, I'll try that.
Does anyone know how I can get rid of those long single hairs, one on the her right forehead, and two running across her chest? I spent some time with clone and healing brush, but I always wound up with a messy looking streak running where the hair had been. I thought the hair was better than the streak, so I decided to leave them alone.
Thanks.
