I like them, but the first few look pretty soft. Did you do any USM sharpening on them?

Yes, and the sharpening that the Noise Reduction feature provides. The soft ones were shot with a 800-210 Promaster lens. Nothing special by any means. I've been wanting to replace that lens for that very reason.
