Hello Everyone i'm new to this message board. I have been looking at everyones shots of photography, and it is just amazing the talent everyone has.

I was wondering some q's.

1. How can you get crisp looking photos? Sometimes its a little blurry or not as clear. I am using a Canon Rebel EOS.

2. Do you think any of these pictures are good?

Many factors large and small can contribute, but to mention the most important in my opinion:

- good glass. A quality lens is important. Even the best photographer is going to produde unsharp photos if they shoot thru the bottom of a coke bottle.

- camera movement is a big culprit. use a tripod when possible.

some intersting photos. What lens are you using? It mostly looks as if your arpeture is too open to get a wide DOF

proper exposure
getting the dof right
good lighting

That is far more important then equipment.

once that's done it comes down to post processing and sharpening.

i'm using the regualr lens the camera came with. I try to use the "M" dial but sometimes it doesn't turn out good. I know you need lots of light and stuff. to get crisp photos. I don't like to use flash at all now.

I use the A-DEP, AD, and P dials. Is that bad?

Thanks again guys and gals for the advice.

Using the creative zones is not bad, you just need to know what they do, and what they're for. Read your manual. Using manual (M) you HAVE to understand the camera functions. Again, read your manual. In the meantime, the safe way to insure that you get at least a usable image is to use full auto [ ] or one of the image zone modes.
