iptc-import / categorie - troubles

Hi Pekka,
I did not found an post here, hence I write this report:

1) My installation went smooth and now I am ready to work ;)
2) Because all is new and I have only 45 images there, I can easy delete all
3) I see some serious troubles with the iptc-import. I select ALWAYS "Categories from IPTC: add all separately"

a) All categories from the iptc-CAT "main" seems to be double. I have in fact about 20 different cats (main) and subcats total. And this is correct in the (non public) exhibition. But when I look at the categories in ee, then I see, it created 154 Cats and all Cats (main) are several times there, like

000
099
099
099
Sport

It seems, that only the numbers are double or more, not the letters. Is this the problem? But in the Cat (main) I use only numbers, hence I can not test this just now.

b) Some images, uploaded once, have the same categorie, like 975, double, when a user choosed the category 975, the same image, displays twice

c) I found at least two images, where a subcategorie have not created a new category in EE.
This has been created:

But this NOT (from another image):

77:Keller Roland

Because this seems to be something, what is maybe not easy to solve, I would be thankful, if you could have a look in it.
I hope, it is not my user-error.

As I said, I have not problems to delete all (because I use this now as a kind of big test for family-images, but the target are the "real" images later, when commerce is done ;)
And I have no problems, if you want, that I send you the admin/pass for the host.

Please mail me couple of photos which gave this double category problem or PM me info where to get them. There is a bug and it can be fixed, but only when I can reproduce it.

thanks for this QUICK answer.
I will mail you in a couple of minutes my admin/pass from the host, there is nothing else there than your ee, fresh installed and 40-50 images, and in the upload folder are these original images still. But from all I have of course copies here, no problem to delete all.

fine, no problem, have a good concert!!

I sent you the mail with all important passwords.
I do not change anything, maybe a bit "play around" with EE ;)

And again: All images, what you will find on EE, do not hesitate to delete them, realy no problems, feel free to delete also categories and all, what you want, I am happy, when I have at the end again the newest EE installed :P

Because I want "play" a bit with 50 - 100 images. Then, after be sure, all is working and I understand everything, I will upload about 3000 images, but also for family, not THAT important.

And the final target is, as written earlier, to get a real professional EE-system ... hence feel free to change or kill all, what you want.
