I think there are great elements (setup, lighting and exposure for starters) The green REALLY pops against the red background and works well, but I think the tulip gets a bit lost in the background, and could look better under different circumstances.

Beautiful! I must agree with Travis about the tulip itself getting 'lost' in the red background, but the green is fantastically lit. The glass is a nice addition, too.

Interesting. I find my eye jumping back and forth from the tulip to the shadows at the bottom that have a similiar hue. The effect is good.

I like them. I think I prefer the red one, the second is a bit drab in color compared to the other one, but both are nice and works for me. Great job.
