I shot this at a nearby museum. Apparently this noose was supposed to be used in one of the states last hangings but was never carried out. Kind of a creepy shot but I think it turned out nice.

i like it. i think a shot of the entire noose would have been great too.

Why is it blue? (I understand that the noose itself is not actually blue- I am merely wondering why the photo is a cyanotype)
