Isn't there some way to find out what is the temperature (in K) of the current Custom White balance image? It would be much easier to key in the necessary temperature than trying to maintain useful white balance images and trying to find them on your CF cards.

If the image you used to set the Custom WB was shot in RAW, you can use the RAW converter in Photoshop CS to tell you the temperature. Frankly, I don't know how accurate the color temperatures reported by the converter are, but I used it to determine the color temperature of my 550EX, which is about 5700K.
