I need to get rid of either my Tamron 17-50 or my EF-S60.
I love both but need to get rid of one of them since my bag is too small and can not put all of my lenses , I got rid of 3 lenses already ; EF85f1.8, which I never used , EF50f1.8 and Sigma 18-50EX macro (I wanted to keep it though, the shop asked me to return it since they had only one 18-50EX macro to display there).
Both are very sharp but I dont need two similar kind of lenses , I will use it in addition to my 17-85IS and EF-70-300IS,which I seldom use .

The 60mm is a better lens but it is also a different lens. I would get rid of the 17-85mm IS personally. You could also get a bigger bag!

Thanks for your input and I have to ask you one thing.
If I have to get rid of one of them , which one should it be?
I need the 17-85 range for walk-around so I can not get rid of it although it is not as sharp as the 60mm macro.
The Tamron was so sharp , I was shocked while comparing it against my EF85 f1.8 , which I already sold out .
Thanks for your time , you opinion is always appreciated.

My thought exactlly.

I would get rid of the Tamron out of the two.
I wanted to keep it though, the shop asked me to return it since they had only one 18-50EX macro to display there
Why would you do what they want?

The 17-50mm if you must keep the Canon IS lens because they are duplicating, while the 60mm adds value to your collection as a differnet type of lens.

Thanks for your input , I loved the Sigma personally and I knew the Pop photo raved about it but as I compared the same images taken with 2 lenses the Tamron was sharper , and I tried to trust my eyes ...
But with the Canon EF-S60 , I can not compare the Tamron becaue they have very different focal range ,the Canon is alwasy 60mm while the Tmaron at the its longest end is just 50 mm .So, how can I compre those 2 in fair manner?
I did not think a zoom can be as sharp as primes , I think the Tamron 17-50 can be sharper than the EF85 f1.8 , which I got rid of due to its focal length.
Also, the Tamron over expose with flash used .

Thanks for your help , I think I like the brighter color too , BTW, all the photos I posted above are taken at F4 and ISO400,the Canon 60mm and Tamron 50mm.
So the Canon images are bigger.

This is the reason why I can not get rid of the Canon 17-85IS.
"I wanted to replace mine 17-85is with the Tamron as well - so I can reduce my lens lineup to just 3 lens: Tamron 17-50 + Canon 85/1.8 + 70-200 F4is. But I find Tamron quite poor in low light focusing, the AF hunts in low light, and often require 2 separate shutter click to find focus. In the end, Tamron is now my daylight / landscape lens, while 17-85is is my NIGHT lens".
I got this from dpreview forum , but this is exactly what I thought, like him , I thought I 'd get rid of my 17-85 when I bought the Tamron and I could not because the Canon focuses better and faster.
So the Canon became my museum lens and the Tamron is now my flower and close-up lens since it's got nice close-up feature, allows you to get as close as 27cm to a flower or like that.

Or Just get rid of my Sigma 18-200 with the kit and ef50f1.8?

I think you're the only one who can really decide here.

I am not able to see any difference between these 2 lenses in term of IQ , the real problem is my dealor asked me to return the Sigma 18-50 macro(he did not charge anything) , which is a great lens with great close-up feature ,so if I could keep it , I would not need a real macro and sell the EF-S60.
Although the Tmaron is sharp and maybe better than the Sigma in term of pure IQ ,without the Sigma close-up feature , I will have to get a real macro or a lens like the Sigma 17-70 eventurally.
If I keep the Tamron , I will be able to share my 67mm filter with my 17-85IS .
If I keep the Canon macro , I will have to get a 52 mm filter and hood ,and they can not be shared with my other lenses .
Do I have to have a tele zoom which I dont really use ?
The Tamron is sharp and covering all focal range that I need, while the Canon macro lens is the best portrait lens , I really love this lens when it's used for a portrait .
I dont like shooting insects or really detailed level of close up of a flower or like that , I love flowers but like to shoot entire flowers not a part of them.
I am agonized over it cause I am going to China in 3 days and only have 2 days to decide what to do with them.....
1 sell off my 18-200.
2 sell off my EF-S60.
3 sell off my EF-S18-55 and EF50 f1.8 with my point and shoot cameras (power shot A620 , Panasonic FZ50 and Nikon P5000).
4 Sell my Tamron 17-50 .
5 sell my Canon EF70-300IS.
I use my Tmaron 17-50 quite often now and keeping my EF-S60 as my portrait lens in my pocket.
I almost never use my 70-300Is , so should I get rid of it?
Any input is appreciated.
BTW, I dont think any one buys an used EF-S18-55 or EF50f1.8.
Has any one sold either of them before?

(assuming you are staying with crop) clean out the closet and get the 17-55 2.8 - I did before our recent trip to Egypt and I was able to get some superb shots both out and about and also inside dim "no flash allowed" tombs and temples with f2.8 and IS. The colour and sharpness makes me smile after my old 17-85.
My only other lens is the 70-300 DO which was great for street candids.
