major problems with rc4

I swear I posted this before, but it seems to have not been posted, so here I go again. I have been noticing a weird problem with some people browsing my galleries with RC4. When they get to the main index (http://www.modelxposure.com/gallery/index.php they have no problem, but after clicking on one of the catagories, they are taken to a list of individual galleries (http://www.modelxposure.com/gallery/index.php?groupid=1&lang=eng&pass=public for example. BUT, when they try to click a link to go to individual galleries within that group, it takes them back to the main index (the first link above) The only way to fix this, and view individual galleries, is for them to access a gallery directly (like clicking the url in the news item for the new fashion show i shot) This can be repeated on my laptop, my moms computer, and a few others, but not my desktop for some reason. Cookies are all set right, i've tried clearing the cookied data on the settings in EE, nothing seems to work. Some people can see my site just fine, but others have this weird issue.

I should note that if after you click the direct link, such as the one in the news section, all galleries work fine afterward, its just whenever you visit the site that this happens.

I just browsed through Your galleries - nice photos by the way - but did not experience any problems. I jumped back and fourth between galleries, groups and index with no problems at all.

Here's what I did:

1. open page http://www.modelxposure.com/gallery/index.php
2. click group link "Model Photo Shoots"
3. click exhibition link "Davina and Josh"

And exhibition opens normally.

I would love to fix this if I just could reproduce the problem. I re-checked the code and there is absolutely no possibility that exhibition link can get "index.php" instead of "list.php" because that part is hardcoded.

When you get this problem, can you please check which address "Davina and Josh" exhibition link (as in above procedure) has. You can get this by right-clicking the link and getting properties of it (in Windows).

If it is something else than http://www.modelxposure.com/gallery/list.php?exhibition=26&pass=public&lang=eng

Then let me know what it was.

Only possibility I can imagine why this could technically happen is that your server is configured to return to gallery folder index when any server error happens (page not found, not authorized etc.) but as those errors really don't happen it remains only a theory.

PS. EE does not use any cookies, so cookie settings do not affect in any way. EE's Uncookied system is NOT used in index pages at all, so resetting it does not affect the situation in any way.

thanks for the replies, I haven't been able to get on lately, since I had to reinstall windows (major computer problems) I just checked, and it works fine for me as well, but I had someone email me saying that when they tried to view my galleries, each time they'd pick a sub group, it would take them back to the main page, just like I described. It doesn't seem to happen to everyone, just a few people. Here is a copy of his email.

Also, I had trouble navigating through your web site. Every time I would try to visit the galleries, the link would take me back to the home page. You might want to check that out.

So its not just my moms and friends PCs. Some people it works, some it doesnt it's weird.
