View Full Version : Unusual response to some of my photographs

I took a few of photographs of a driver in a couple of races one weekend which he subsequently bought off me, including a CD of the TIF versions. When sorting out the images for the CD I found a couple of additional shots of his car and put them on the CD along with a "with my compliments" note.

Today I have received a letter inviting me to his next test day where I can drive his car for quite a few laps. I still hold my race licence so it isn't a problem. Worth more than charging him for the extra shots IMHO. I'll have to train him to use my 1D to record the event.

Awesome.

I tried to think of more to say, but the above says it all - Oh, there is one more thing - no shunts

Kenny, sounds like a great opportunity and one heck of a lot of fun to boot.

I always enjoy seeing your images on the forum. Now if I could just find a way to get the cars that I shoot to shine anywhere near your shots.... :?

Way to go Kenny.. the kind gesture pays off :) (not that it was your intention)

So there is only problem I see with this development....

What happens if when you take the wheel... you get better lap times?

//..... and when he gets hold of the 1D... what if he takes better pics?

Wow! That's great. Whoever said nice guys finish last must have been smoking some sort of stale weed. :)

Congrats!

Oh, great opportunity, Kenny. I'd enjoy the same, that's for certain.

As they say in the off-road world, keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down. :)

Enjoy the ride!
