Ralph Stanley II & The Wright Kids (local group of three brothers and one sister) I am sure the world will get a chance to see more of these youngsters.

Wright Kids again. This was a 3 day festival and some people came in RVs others pitched a tent, but there was one group of campers who really went primitive and tossed up a tee-pee.

And yes the people with the tee-pee were actually Indians

Hmmm, I just checked these on my desktop after posting. Does anyone see a yellow cast over these images? or has my desktop lost its calibration?

Yep, I see a warm cast, but the only one where I think it's "too", is #1. (and maybe 8)
(If you could put numbers by them, that might help commenting.)

Second image is quite nice, as is the seventh. Allthough I'd have preffered a Banjo with the headstock intact.

For me the essence of Bluegrass is the acoustic instruments and shared microphone with each musician taking turns of a solo nature. Given this perspective, while there are some good images here, you are missing the wider angle front view that is so classical. I like the one of slide guitar/dobro a lot.

The stage was covered with microphones and just about every shot there was a mic in some ones face. I really wish sound guys would think of photographers when they set a statge LOL.

Well, that's the pits! Both times I shot Rhonda Vincent and The Rage there was one microphone shared by five or more folks ... it was blissful.

Yes, sound and light guys need to think of the photographers ... or we need to be buying more beers!

Very nice set of images. I like the one of the hand on the strings, I find myself often doing the same with guitar players.

See what I mean Mics everywhere. the second shot had over 10 mic stands and mics on the stage at one time.
