your work on the bg is good but a little more care, you caught his arm in pic 1 and a smaller brush next to the skin will keep the line neater also the red eye stands out but over all i think you have done a very nice job the pose is nice and the color sharp too .

You need a bit of hair light too on #1 to separate the BG and his hair. Nice composition though.

I like them... Although they do look a little flashy... what are you using, camera flash?

Also I wish dad's thumb was not covering baby's face so much.. try to get him to keep his fingers and thumb together and have baby rest her face on his hand... Does that make sense?

For framing, just try not to cut off those precious little feet.. they should be within the frame.. :)
