Question about 550EX flash??

My question is that i just got my 550EX flash about 4 weeks ago and for some reason when ever i take a picture the flash makes a really nice noise now i know the normal noice it makes when it charges back up but this noise seems to be a bit lougher now is this a sign that the battery are gettting low or is there something wrong with the flash itself any input would be great thanks

The best sing of low battery power is a longer recycle time for a flash of equal brightness and distance. Watch how long it takes for the ready light to come back on after a shot.

Also note that as the batteries get weaker, the flash will still recycle for the next shot but won't have as strong a flash available as with fresh batteries. You will lose range.

ok thanks for all your replys this sound i'm hearing shouldn't be anything i should be to consided about than right just need to rechange my batties i was just getting a little worried when i heard the sound i thought something was wrong with the flash.
