I just finished my first photoshoot. This was for Nissan Sport magazine's Editor's Choice Z. The car is a '77 Datsun 280Z and has been brought back into great condition. Some of these pictures will be published in the next issue of Nissan Sport magazine so enjoy! Shots were taken in Newport Beach, CA. Camera is a Canon 350D with Canon 85 f1.8 and 10-22. C&C is more than welcomed.

i think it would have been better with 2" less size.... other than that, its awesome. (14" or 15" on classics for me... maybe 16" max)

the owner needed to find wheels to fit over the 4 piston Toyota calipers and he wanted a classic looking wheel. He was searching and searching and couldnt find anything he liked until he came across these Boyd Cottington Smoothie 2 wheels.

I love the 280z. Gorgeous car.
Gorgeous pictures to justify the gorgeous car as well. The second one is my favorite.

Coincidentally, I like the 3rd shot of each set the best. Nice work!

I really like the 4th but the reflection of the other car is distracting from the smooth side.
Also the rims are a bit much, but better than what could have been on there I guess. Sometimes you just have to make compromises for performance :)

Thank you and yes i did use the 85 for that picture. i found myself using the 85 more than the 10-22. I really like the shots i get from the 85, especially when i dont have a really good backdrop. I really only needed the wideangle for the engine and interior shots, and i had to take a picture of the owner with the car and award in hand so the wide angle came in handy for that.
