Went out and took my first pics with my new 30D - a friend running the Kirkland Half Marathon. This is one of the best I got. Still lots to learn, please help me do just that... Taken with 28-135 IS at f/6.3 1/400 135mm. Crop and resize only. What should I do to make it better? Here (http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=497117056&size=o) is the original if you care.

Thanks!

Tom

Looks good to me. Only comment would be to watch your backgrounds for stuff like telephone poles.

I grew up in Kirkland ... checked your flickr site and noticed some shots were taken west of Market Street and on the old road that runs into Juanita.

Yup, you got em... the race weaved all throughout some side streets, some main. Nice course.

So you must still be on the East Side with all your Issaquah and Bellevue Baseball photos... I checked out your flickr. Love the spitting ump...

Do you know a lot of those folks? Or do you just go out and shoot random games? Or are you shooting for a paper?

Thanks

Tom

Moved to Shoreline about 2 years ago, but still coach high school baseball on the Eastside. So, yeah, I know most of those folks.

I do go out and shoot random games for the experience. Aspire to shoot professionally one day.
