I love this lens. I love the really cool effect of the fisheye.. I was pretty sceptical about spending so much money on a 3rd party manufactured lens. My lens is uber sharp.. I love it. Although sometimes i wish it was the Canon 10-22.
Here are some samples

A HRD?! :P
If you meant 'HDR' then yes. The sun was just about to set over the rock. And as i didn't have a tripod with me, i had to take the three exposures handheld, which was a challenge.

Well would you believe it, It's here! Ordered Monday evening and delivered to South Wales U.K this morning, 3 Days super service from One Stop Highlt Recommend them :-D
Bolted it onto the 1D2 and Wow what a lens! Distortion is brilliant Works fine at 12mm and even gets your toes in lol
Sharpness in low light is a bit ditchy but i'm not used to the lens yet, went out the back and took a few shots and WOW, although under a 100% crop the quality and sharpness doesn't match up with Canon almost looks a bit camera phone quality! But hey its a fun lens and costs peanuts & i've got a fair bit to learn about it! Corners are soft as most people say but why would you expect them to be sharp with a fishy :s
Tried it on the 40D works at 10mm although the distortion is hugely differnt as expected to the 1D although i did not expect as much as i got.
Quick sample, Untouched just converted from Raw in PS and cropped and watermark added, Exif should be there

It's a stereographic projection. It's pretty much a 360degree pano folded into a circular picture, then i just crop it to make it square.

I have a 40D...pics taken with this lens on a crop body..is it going to be less fishy as opposed to shooting with a full frame camera? Also, I presume shooting at 17mm won't be as fishy but more wide angle?

The Tokina is just as fishy at 10mm on a crop camera as the 15mm Canon would be on lets say on a 5DII.

I've read that you can use this lens on a full frame camera at 15-17mm. Just wondering if it is still highly distorted (fishy) like the 10mm setting on a crop sensor?

I find the fishyness is barely noticeable on a crop at 15mm+, and then at 14mm you start to get the fishyness. Generally, I use it at the wide end, because that's where the effect is most pronounced.

Agreed, this lens is designed for Crop bodies. The great thing is it gives about a 170 degree view at 10mm on a crop body but it is supposed to also give about the same view at 15-16mm on a full frame.

I've had this lens for a little over a year and it's a ton of fun!
I have a Rebel XT, and just picked up a 5D2, so for all who have asked, yes, this lens works on full frame but only from 15-17mm. It isn't that it won't take pictures in the 10-15mm range, but the sensor on a full frame is so large that the image the lens projects in the 10-15mm range leaves a huge vignette.
I believe it's just as "fishy" at 15mm on a full frame as it is on a crop sensor, since if you were to divide the 15mm by 1.6 you'd roughly get a 9.375mm equivalent looking at it from a cropped perspective (i.e. 10mm on a 1.6 crop is the exact same focal length 16mm on a full frame).
Here's a photo I found online with the vignetting I was talking about (hopefully they don't mind me using the picture):
http://i.pbase.com/g5/60/633860/2/99321581.Nh1tp15U.jpg

It fits on a full frame camera, but it is meant for crop cameras. I think you have to use it at 14.5mm and above or the lens hits the mirror.

Finally made the leap for a Fisheye. It was raining today, so my first shots were waiting for pizza at Giovanni's - my favorite. If you are ever near Beaverton, OR, this is tops.
This lens would probably be a fine addition for real estate photos for the wider rooms. There is not much distortion in this photo. The room is about 35 feet wide and 45 feet long.

Great lens for underwater. Taken with 30D, Ikelite Housing and dual strobe.

That's a nice change of scenery.
Do you have a link or photo that shows the kind of housing that you use underwater?
I don't dive at all, but am curious about what is used.

Starting to experiment more. Went to see Unstoppable the other night at this theater. The white arrow and reflections from rain water seem to add.

I just got my T2i and this lens off Craigslist. I still don't know how to work either (1 week). Me and some friends were goofing off at the dealership over the weekend. They just had their cars detailed... so I took some shots. At the time, I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the monochrome setting. Oh well, I know now.

It's usable on my 5D MK III from 15mm - 17mm. If you zoom out anymore, the lens hood will enter the frame.
