5D+70-200 2.8L IS= love
i went to the camera store yesterday planning to buy either the 70-200 f/4 IS, or the 70-200 2.8L, and (get this) my girlfriend actually talked ME into getting the 2.8 IS, this lens is amazing, consequently, i had my first paid shoot yesterday for a friend's wife riding her horse. here are a couple favorites from it.

Very nice pics. Great conversion on the first one.
I have to disagree a bit with the quote. The 70-200 IS looks good ON ANY CAMERA :D
I'm to a point where I can't blame my equipment for bad pics now. It's all my fault. :)

I'm not sure, looks like there's a decent amount of light fall-off on a full-frame camera...
:p
(nice shots!!)

Some lovely shots there, I assume you added the vignette in number two (or is it bad vignetting from the lens...)

i added vignetting on both, it's not from the lens. i admit i'm a sucker for vignetting, sometimes too much.

The only way to properly quote me would be not show the pics. :D

How did you add vignette in PS?
You can add it either in Adobe Camera RAW or by using a gradient mask. (of course there are other ways as well)

How did you add vignette in PS?
The simplest way (among others) is to select Filter/Distort/Lens Correction - then take the Vignette slider to the LEFT.

I love the first one! Very antique looking with the sepia and the composition with the barn in the background is excellent!

Yeah I definitely like the 1st one too.
I love it because it is hard to tell when it was taken..
it could have been yesterday.. or 50 years ago. :)

Absolutely gorgeous shots! Congratulations on your new lens! :D
This is exactly the lens I am presently drooling over... I'm trying to talk myself out of buying it (expensive!), but seeing great shots like these isn't helping.

Run a few searches. I've posted well over 100 pictures here so far. None very memorable. But that's because I suck.:D
Actually a few were memorable. Like the one of my younger sister some forum members had their eye on.

Can't wait to get this lens.

Again.. I love them! :D
It is hard to tell which FL and aperture you used. (no Exif  )
But the bokeh is just beautiful..
I sure like to try 200mm @ 2.8 with FF someday. :)
