...will it fit the 10D? B&H lists the cameras it does fit, but the 10D is not among them. However, I use the Big Ed grip, and B&H seems to say that it will fit a camera "with an extension grip".

The E1 hand strap will work with the 10D and BG-ED3.

That's a fact. It's really a great help, too.

Read the instructions on how to install it on the body. It is fairly easy and uncomplicated. However, if you shun reading directions, a roll of duct tape and some QuickZips will come in handy

I recently installed one on my 10D and the jury is still out on whether I like it or not.

I've found it a bit less tiring than carrying the camera one-handed without it. I'm a vote in favor of it.
Wait, this isn't a survey, is it?

I vote for the E-1 and a neck strap. Sort of like wearing suspenders and a belt. Dual security system

Cultural note: "Suspenders and a belt" on the Eastern shore of the Atlantic would indicate some form of cross-dressing :p ;)

Or mid-West farmer status. Shootin' pics of haybales—and while there would be no ducks, there are certainly chickens about.
