Thanks Shane! We had a very mild winter so this spring there are a lot more critters than normal. Also most of the crab spiders I've shot so far have been small -easy to miss if you're not looking for them.

Lovely capture- assume this is a different crab spider or has it's camouflage gone mad :)

Thanks Brian! Different species -one that I don't normally get a good shot of since they like to hunt from areas that are concealed.

They also make "hunting blinds" by folding two flower petals over and connecting them together with webbing. I've got a shot of one in such a blind but I need to post process it.
