You might try looking at things from a different angle. Why do you need all of those lenses. You could probably get by with fewer lenses, and put your budget towads the lenses that you really want the most performance out of.

For instance, you can have one lens that is a wide/normal/medium zoom like the Sigma 17-70, or a wide normal like any of the 17-50ish lenses.

Also, by going all zooms, you won't have a really fast aperture lens that could be useful in low light.

Instead of buying 6 lenses at $500-600, you could get the Canon 10-22, the 17-55IS and the 70-200IS for about the same budget (maybe throw in a 100 macro or EFS 60 macro for good measure)....but there are many many other options.

The question is...what do you shoot or what do you want to shoot?

I'm a little confused. Where can you get a 70-200 IS plus the other 2 lenses for $500=600? Sign me up!!

$500 to $600 EACH or in TOTAL? If the latter then good luck, you'll probably be able to get two average/consumer lenses in that budget.

You have the kit lens so why not get one decent standard zoom lens to start off with and go from there?

Maybe I misunderstood the original post. I was under the impression that it was $500-600 for each lens x 6 lenses. But yeah, if that is the total budget, I would say one or two lenses is more realistic. Like maybe a standard zoom, or a wide angle, or a tele, but not all of them.

You don't buy lenses in bulk like this.
You need to develop your skills, your eye and establish yor interests before buying up the whole toyshop.
Go out and take a couple of thousand more shots with what you've got now.
Then decide what aspects you're keenest on - sports, portraits, wildlife, landscapes, macro, etc. Then choose one lens from from your list that is best suited for your top interest
