Definitely close, very nice, sharp with great detail.

I've never seen a blue grosbeak before Richard. These are very nice and sharp. Love the detail.

What do you use to get so close. When ever I get this close with my 170-500 at 500mm I cant focus enough to get these...

Superdiver- try using extension rings to shorten your minimum focusing distance. --Rick

Very close and sharp ..great use of extension tubes and it must be nice to have those Blue Grosbeaks...never seen one. Nice work!
