I'm looking into purchasing 1 of the Kubota Actions set. If you have any of the sets can you give me your feed back on them? I'm thinking about getting #3. If you have used all 3 sets can you tell me what one you like the most and why?
thanks!

I love the Kubota Actions & wouldn't be without them--I currently have #2, which seems to be the most popular for wedding shooters, and I use it all the time. The Production Pack & Artistic #1 are next on my list.

Most people seem to like set #2 better. There's another set of actions put out by the Boutwells that you might like better, though. I'll search for the link and get back to you.

I've got #2.
I don't use them much these days as I have found I can pretty much achieve all the looks I want straight out of Lightroom.

I'd recommend #2 of all of them. All of them have + and - points, but I think #2 is the most well-rounded pack. I like them.

i've got all three. you need to figure out what you want to accomplish with them - set 1 is geared more towards black and white and set 3 is more artsy - and not traditional by any means - set 2 is used a lot, and more traditional wedding stuff, but i still like all three. the totally rad from boutwells are pretty much the same as set no. 2 from kubota, but i feel you get mroe with kubota, like the borders, etc.

From the samples on the Kubota site it seems like #1 is for black and white, #2 is for black and white with color (red, green, yellow), and #3 is more artsy. I want a well rounded package but from the samples I like the effects that I saw with #3.

wow, I like the boutwell ones but its 46 actions for $150. I think Kubota is a better value and they are more classic. I'll have to get the boutwell ones later for some fun and funky effects.
oh man, I want them all. :)

I have Kubota 2 & 3..I use 4 or 5 actions out of 2 all the time..#3 i use a few of them..not as much...#2 is the best of the bunch to me..although I have never tried #1. I just bought the Boutwell set so no comments on those till I try them out.

I bought actions set #2 after some recommendations and have to say that I find myself using the actions from it all the time. It's a great action set.

I bought #2 after recommendations on here. I use it all the time. Mind you I only use a few of them, probably about 8. But they are great.

Looks like #2 is the most used set of actions.

I have artistic #2, and production pack #1. I love them, although some of the actions you can download for free, but Kubota's seem a little better.

I purchased the second set and I played with them a bit. I'll have to dig in first thing tomorrow morning. I like the black and white conversions. I'll have to figure out the others.
