When do you get the most bookings?

I'm wondering when you guys do the most bookings .. not when you actually shoot the wedding but what time of year do you most often receive contact to book weddings?

I started receiving bookings around Febuary but very few. Actually now, April, May is when it picked up.

All year. It comes in fits and starts. I had a couple of weeks where I booked 6 weddings, then for the next two weeks I didn't have a single inquiry. I could look at my statistics, but it'll be easier once I write my own software.

I got a lot of phone calls and emails around late fall, that gives me around 6-9 months noctice for summer weddings here. Although now that my work is a little more popular people starting to call and request dates for next year.

I have twelve booked for next year, and they have come in the last five months. It seems like most brides that are really on the ball are booking about a year to fourteen months out. Then there are the more relaxed group that wait until they have about 8 months. Then there are the ones who call for dates that are about three to four months away.

All of them help to fill out your schedule.

Early Jan, after the non-denominational winter holidays (formerly known as Christmas holidays), after Feb 14th, and then throughout the year. But I did notice an increased number of inquiries at the beginning of the year.

I get a big rush around Fall as well, but I still get some throughout the year.

I have had my best 10 days ever with 4 bookings over the next 4 months and all from google searchs, where as the local adverts have nil enquires.
