I would like to find decent slip in albums for a good price for parents. Any suggestions? :)

Saying which country you are based in would be helpful, some companies supply all regions but many dont.

Slip in album = amateur. Horrible things, i've never seen one I consider professional level.

What do you use for parent albums then? I found a open faced matted album with silver guilding that has a very nice appearance in my opinion. I want a reasonably priced parent album, it if is not slip in, that would be fine. Any suggestions?

I use a 20pg 5x7 topflight album. It runs about $70 at Albums Inc. Most clients like it.

My favorite 5x7 slip-in is the Maxima "Simplice". Reasonbly priced, nice cover material, contemporary styling...it's a nice book.

Rennaissance: The Book also makes a decent 5x7 slip-in (though I prefer the self mount version).

They are both about the same price. Sign up with Albums Inc to get the price list.

I'll also vouch for Albums Inc. I've purchased both of the items mentioned by Jamie and Atl-Photos and have been very pleased.
You can call them at (440)846-4455 which is the direct number for the Cleveland Ohio warehouse and ask to speak to Bill Blystone. He is one of the sales managers and will be happy to explain the various models they offer. Tell him I say hi - I don't get anything out of it but I've been sending people to him from POTN.
They also have an 800 number but I can't remember what it is right now. - Stu

I have thought about the Renisannce aluminum book. Have you purchased that? If so, how is it? I will check those out. I have seen the Simplice in a magazine before and it looked nice. Are the self mount albums easy to mess up? Thanks for the insight!

I'm not sure I've ever seen the Rennaissance Aluminum book - but I tend to shy away from the exotic cover materials.
I bought a simplice for a studio sample, and it's nicer than it looks in the photo. I haven't sold any though...most people prefer the RTB self mount.
The self mount albums are pretty easy to put together. As long as you are careful they are pretty hard to mess up (at least the 5x7 size is - the 8x10 is a little trickier). The thing about the self mount is that if you mess up a page, you might as well scrap the book. The mounted photos are permanent...
But, like I said, my clients love them.

These are the Maxima Eloquence slip-in albums that I get I get from Albums Inc., which are a step up from the Top Flight slip ins:

They are not leather although I have to say that the look and feel of them is quite excellent for the price. The leather Zook albums do look and feel richer, but they are also substantially more expensive. My client's pay a premium for those.
Following are an 8x10 main album and 5x7 parent's companion album that I finished yesterday. This particular 8x10 is holding 30 matted prints. The mats can be square, rectangular, round, oval, etc. and these pages will also hold other mats for 4x5's, 5x7's - it's pretty flexible.

Here are couple more views of the Maxima Eloquence albums. The top book is the 5x7, while the larger bottom 8x10 allows for a small photo insert that adheses to a recessed small metal plate. I've cut the photo small enough to allow for an attractive silver border.
The bound slip-in pages allow you to use any of 66 different choices of mats that will accomodate different sized photos and configurations. That's a lot to choose from, and I only use about 6-8 different ones.
I have AlbumsInc. inscribe the B&G's name and date on the front cover, and my studio inscription goes on the inside.

Thank you - these albums really do offer some good flexibility for a bound book. You just tape the prints to whatever mat you select for a given page, and then slide the mat/photo assembly into the page from the side. A small piece of double sided tape locks it in, out of site. The construction of it keeps everything well aligned and quite flat.
The 8x10 size with 12 pages (24-sides) will hold either (24) 8x10 photos, or (48) 5x7 prints, or (96) 4x5 prints, or any combination of these. It just depends upon which mats you buy.
Obviously this is not a coffee table book or flush mount album in the modern sense. I do get the occasional inquiries for that sort of thing, but for some reason my clients still like the old style matted albums for both weddings and bar mitzvah's. Perhaps this will change in time....
Beautiful albums, I will check them out, THANKS!
