Night Rose

The flower I shoot at rainy night when only street electric lamp lights with weak yellow light. From options of my camera I set "Night shot" without flash. Then I edited a little the photo in computer program - added shining to water drops and if I remember I changed slightly brightness and contrast. But when I look at the result I am still not pleaser - the picture is too dark.

Please write me how I can achive good quality in night shots - I have digital camera Canon A430 and program MGI PhotoSuite :rolleyes:

is the camera on a tripod? If not try it on one and set it for a slightly longer exposure.

That's hard to do. i don't have enough experience/know-how to help you. Looks nice though, I like the water drops! :)

Edit: (maybe you could "paint" the flower with a flashlight during a long exposure or something)
