Ok, so i dunno if any of you know anything about this, but i found this site, http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/ and i plan to try it with an image or 2 of mine. The only thing is it says the maximum image file size to upload is 1mb, but i'll be using images shot at "large" from my 10D, so that is much more then just one meg, SO, i'm wondering is it better to size the image down so that it becomes only one meg? or is it better to decrease the image quality till it gets to one meg? I don't know what would make a better print out with this type of thing. Thanks in advance.

A hard one to answer. You might try reducing the noise in the image first. The extra "grain" increases the image size a lot.
The Helicon Noise Filter is free if you don't already have something like that.

This is off topic but I just couldn't help noticing your avatar, PhotosGuy. I like your brownie box camera with the flash. That's the first camera I ever had when I was a kid. It sure does bring back some good memories! I used to go around taking pictures with it with my father's light meter hung around my neck (as if it was any good with the brownie ).
Sorry for the intrusion.

Damn I wrote a long reply and realised it didn't go through!
I'll sum up and you can trust me o nthis one.
The image quality can be as crap as u want - get it down to a meg and do whatever it takes. It will come out perfectly on Rasterbator as it makes a new file.
If you'd like to test what your result will look like with your compressed image open up PS and do a colour halftone filter.
