i need to do a catalog (clothing catalog 4 fun) that i will give away to all my friends that cooperate in this project

the thing is that i don't know where to send them to get print for real cheap (i live in los angeles area ) and i mean real cheap.

i need a lot of catalogs im planning to get about a 1000 5 pages print in both sides so it will come out the catalog 8 1/2 by 5 1/2

this catalog will help me to get my makeup artistry career going too
another thing is that someone let me borrow their photoshop 6 but im scared to put it on the computer (i don't like to get in trouble)can someone tell me if is ok to do it.

now my camera problem i shoot for this catalog in daylight with tv mode , iso 100 and i use the flash, the thing is the when i shoot 3 pictures with same postion and mode some pictures become lighter than the other
can u guys tell me what im doing wrong.
thank you love monica

One question:

Did you follow all of the advice that you got here a week or two ago?

OK, but the amount of practice necessary is large. That is why I had tried to suggest taking a photography class at some local community college. It forces you to practice. You will learn some of the terminology. Plus, you might learn a few extra things about how your camera works, and how to manipulate the camera better so that you are in charge, not the camera blindly doing everthing automatically.

It may be that if you are shooting the 3 pictures of different clothing, the camera may be changing exposure based on the color of the clothing. Try finding the exposure you like and set the same exposure for all the pictures in the manual "M" setting.

Let me rephrase what Chuck just wrote.

When the camera's electric eye meters a subject, it really does not know what color the subject is. It doesn't know whether it is a person in a white dress, a gray dress, or a black dress. So, it makes the assumption that it is an 18% gray dress. That might be right, or it might be wrong, but it will automatically try to set up the camera settings with that assumption. So, if your subject really had a white dress on, then it ends up looking kind of icky gray, and if your subject had a yellow dress on, then it might take on some other look, like golden, etc.

So, what is good about the human eye is that it can think about colors and lightness and darkness better. You, as the intelligent user of the camera, can out-think the electric eye, and you can stick in little modifications (later, you will call those Exposure Compensation) to get it done better than the camera all on its own. That is where practice comes in. You have to train your eye to be better. At first, it takes patience. Later on, it will come easier.
