I hate to ask, but I can't seem to find what all is involved with getting a linear converted RAW file to look it's best. I have a G2 and don't have the real Photoshop (too much $$$). Of course I have the Photoshop LE that came with the camera. I generally use Paintshop Pro. I know you have to adjust the histogram endpoints and the curves somehow. I can't seem to get a good combination that will get the picture looking it's best. Can anyone provide or point me to a highlevel list of what steps should be performed to get the picture looking good?
Thanks in advance,
Michael
