hi y'all!

i had the priviledge of being my coworker's photographer for my very first attempt at wedding photography. here are some of my favorite (post processed) random pictures of the day! CC is welcomed, since i'm pretty new to photography in general, and would love to learn how i can improve on my skill and performance!

FYI: i'm pretty disppointed in the reception pictures because i had my ISO setting to 1600 all the way through, and was using my 430 EX flash. the flash kept bouncing all over the place and some of the pictures were pretty grainy. #8 is an example of this

cheers!
cathy

I think for a first attempt at wedding photography you did well.

The grain in the last really isnt that bad. Reduce noise in Photoshop and it will be even less. I'd rather have a well exposed picture with grain than going down in ISO to avoid the noise but then the pic is so dark you can just throw it out.

I shoot mainly at ISO 3200

i think these are nice. The colors are good and I really like the ring shot.

Nice ring shot. Dont worry about the grain its better than a blurry shot.

thanks for the replies....if you look closely, i actually needed to photoshop the groom's ring a bit because the original picture had my reflection on it! good thing for photoshop :)
