Hi All

I had previously asked about how to ID the cars ~ by look or number ~ and found it was not as easy as it might seem. So when I wanted find the drivers name of this image.

I went Googling for Seat Cupra and found a really nice 'resource' here http://www.seatcupra.net/index.php?option=com_weblinks&catid=22&Itemid=17 the BTCC 2007 Spotters Guide, a pdf of the cars details/team differences and the drivers names.

I just have to find the same quality info about the Renault Clio, Porsche Carrera and Formula BMW but to be fair I have only had time so far to look for the Porsche info and other than listing of the car numbers/drivers I have not gotten very far.

HTH others with the same 'problem'

:)

I always get a programme before racing starts and take it home. Most events have a programme, even the club events down here. You can also get results sheets from race control as far as I'm aware (If yo're allowed in that area.)

You can always use the http://www.msttiming.com results service which would give you this info. Results are generally posted very quickly, for example the British Superbikes meet yesterday, full results are already online.

Thanks both for the feedback

Fair comment but I went on the practice day and must admit I forgot to even ask about a program!

Yes, I looked at that site before but unless you know the number of the car (only the Seat seem to number the windscreen as well as the side) it is AFAIK pretty useless to ID the cars in the photos, that is why the pdf I found seems so good.

You would think that's obvious.
