Challenge #10 - Sports
Sorry about the late start but am getting caught up on my surfing after driving 1744 miles in 52 hrs to watch my favorite niece play her first soccer game. She will not be going to college on a soccer scholarship. ;)

Keeping the theme going this week’s challenge is sports. Any winter/summer sport at any level from t-ball to the big leagues are eligible. The only sports excluded are those that use an internal combustion engine.
Good luck!

A bit of history on the title. The player tackling is quite short compared to his opponent(being tackled), hence the title. Not to shabby for thinking it up on the spot if I may say.;)

Canon DSLR Speed Challenge #10 is officially closed.

And the winners are...

1st: Robuk - Men with odd shaped balls...........
There is lots of action and intensity plus it fills the frame nicely, very well done.

2nd: butcha27 - Tubed
Very good capture, a little dark for the lack of better term. Only “suggestion” will be to crop it so the beach isn’t in the top of the frame.

3rd: (tie) Bryman - Reach for Plastic
Again lots of action and intensity, very nice.

redspyder - Respect Earned
The pitcher and the 3rd base coach show how small #8 is. Very sharp and great color under less then optimum lighting.

Thanks to everyong for posting your photos and letting someone who had never judged a photo competition or slept at a Holiday Inn Express select the best pictures. Well done everyone.

Now ball is in Robuk’s court for the next challenge.

Chandler.

Good choices. I would have chosen the exact same ones, again with Robuk's being the best.
