Sensor cleaning: What are the tricks you use?

Trying not getting a lot of dust inside in the first place is working quite good for me :) When I change lenses, I always attach the new lens on the camera, before I waste time on mounting the "spare" lens' rear-cap, as I want the exposure of the image-sensor to always be as short as possible. The 2-3 times I've seen dust in pictures I've taken, I take off the lens, and blowed it clean with a blower. Haven't seen dust in there in more than two months now, and lenses have been changed probably 20 times or so since then.

To add onto what vvizard said, making sure to power off the camera before you dismount the lens can help, as there could be a static charge in the lens cavity with the switch on. And hold the camera with the lens pointing down when you dismount, so dust falls away from the sensor.
My 2 cents.

I see it features a non Canon camera, but the way to do it is the same. Such a shame that is, a non Canon camera.
That should get you going.

Plenty of hot water and a good stiff brush, and a little vinegar and lemon juice of course.

Never try it at home, only Canon authorized personel can apply vinegar for sensors cleaning ;)

I had to clean mine when I returned from Death Valley a month ago. Either i was lucky or it seemed pretty easy to me. I used the Sensor Swabs & solution & everything was fine after three swabs. I used the workflow from the pbase article.
