Saturday May 19 was a test day for this weekend's FIA Main Event at
the UK's Santa Pod Raceway.

Swedens Micke Kagered & the UK's Andy Carter put in several runs each in
there Top Fuelers.
As an experiment I used 1/8000 sec shutter speeds.

Looks like they came out great. I love the sheen of the fuel. The second one could use a little more motion. Overall awesome work. I think it was a succesful experiment.

Those cars are not easy to catch a decent shot of if your panning would be my guess as soon as you get the motion boom their gone.
