I came across this one a minute ago. I don't even remember taking it, or anything about it. I think it was at the zoo. I'm not sure, though.

I can't wait until the meds kick in...

That's a great shot.. You've got appealing angles, lots of detail in the bird, nice framing and nice soft blues and browns in the background.

ROFL. It's a Sparrow, easily ID'd by the head shape. Given the locale (if it was the zoo) and what I remember from that day, I'd say it was a House Sparrow, Female.

Why do you think I got the IS lens...?

I just love EXIF... I just wish the camera had built-in GPS.

It was in portrait mode, but I didn't like the end result so I cropped the top. There's no crop side-to-side. These city birds just don't care it seems.

Second person I've heard talk about wanting GPS on their camera. Hey, maybe it'll catch on sometime.
