I have recently been getting the "Pro video/audio" catalog that I thumb through. It has basic photog supplies along with 300-400 pages of general audo/video items.
Today I see this HUGE B&H Digital Photography sourcebook (700 pages) delivered to someone else in my apartment building! Wow, that thing is massive.
I've spent maybe $1000 at B&H in the past 12 months. Will they start sending me this "bible" of all catalogs? Do you have to request this or be a commercial account?

I got the Home theater source book and the Digital Photography source book. I assume that you can either order it (as there is a price tag on it) or they send it out to you because I never asked for one.

Got the sourcebook in the mail yesterday, DH looked at me like I was crazy when I went dancing around with it. Maybe yours is on the way too. I'll be curling up in the lazyboy with mine for several nights...

Oh yeah, I just noticed the $6.95 tag in the upper right corner.
I assume most people receive these for free as promotional/advertising.
Anyone pay for it?

I got the big sucker, so I threw away two smaller quarterly issues.

I've been getting B&H catalogs for about ten years now. I just received the Digital Photography book, but I'll probably recycle it soon. I just don't buy enough from them to keep it on hand. My wife will take it to a monkey sanctuary where she volunteers because the monkeys love to tear them apart.

I believe the same thing happens with many POTN members. . . ;)

DH is dear husband according to SWMBO. (She Who Must Be Objeyed) :D
I have been getting things quarterly for a while -- the sourcebook most recently. Funniest thing is that I received my first one several years ago, before I'd even purchased my DSLR. I knew absolutely nothing about B&H -- not even that they existed -- and then got this monster catalog stuffed into my mailbox. I was in awe.

I bought an off-shoe cord and a macro ring adapter for a grand total of $60. And I still get the big one. Sweet ;)

Mine was some huge ten pound job, tossed it in the trash within a few minutes of thumbing through it. I plan to contact BH and save them the cost as I just don't use it and it is a waste on me.

B&H confuse me
I've signed up for various catalogues and source books over the last few years on their website.
I've had 2 source books (the huge things) delivered via fedEx (that must of cost a lot - NY to the UK with that much weight) - and they weren't what I ordered! I think there was one of 35mm cameras, and one of video cameras - both things I don't really care about!
I've definitely ticked the box to order the digital source book a few times, but it never seems to come :(
