-I have some .cwk files that I created using apple works.
-I have a new computer
-I don't have the disks for apple works (thought I did, but alas)
-Any idea how I can open .cwk files
-They are spread sheets and it's both important and urgent

-I checked out open office, but doesn't seem to do it...

Ok, google is a wonderful thing!

Windows can open cwk files in word (apprently) and should then be able to resave it as a generic text file :)

All you need is someone with a windows PC and word installed to do it for you, if you like I can install word and have a go?

Funny, I just recieved an email from this team for a free trial (had enquired a short time ago for a different purpose) and am downloading it now, hope it works :)

Thanks for your efforts, appreciated Moppie. Peace and love and relaxation.

.cwk is Claris Works which was the forerunner to Appleworks. I think Appleworks or MacLinkPlus should be able to open those files.
