I went down to the harbor at lunch. i am not very good at these kind of shots but I am trying to learn.

it's a little busy and the sun looks like it's quite high. I would try again during dusk or dawn, and maybe try to isolate a certain subject.

Thanks for the comment. I actually tried to make it busy on the edges. I drive by there almost every day. Yesterday I was driving by and the clutter suddenly appealed to me and I attempted to catch that in these pictures. You're right about the lack of a specifict subject. I didn't have one. I know that is usually bad but I wanted to try this.

do you know if there is a WorldMark resort nearby? if so I may have been there... looks a little familiar

That is the Oceanside harbor. I don't know about any Worldmark resort nearby.

I looked at my shots from yesterday and I did have one with a real subject.
