The flower looks way out of place to me. What you did is a great idea and
merits further pursuit, for sure, but that tulip needs to be in a better setting, IMO. IR photography is great stuff.

The tulip being out of place is half the reason the picture was taken. I found it interesting the flower was growing under all that crap.

Might be OK for you but me too I believe that if you would have moved a bit more to the right, this tulip would not stand in front of that tree, looking more like filling the gap left of the tree and the effect would be stronger while showing it grows amidst all the crap.

Too distracting........

Give it a tighter crop.

I like the idea though.

I agree with you the tulip growing in all that "crap" is worthy of being photographed.
However I think there is too much going on in this image.
A tighter crop might improve this.

I'd like to see the colors in the tulip 'pop' out a bit more. Maybe burn in the top, bottom, & sides of the woods a bit?
