I'm confused by something that I've read recently on the Mark II.

The Canon web site shows several different color settings (or spaces) for JPG and RAW files. I thought that RAW files were "unprocessed," i.e., that they were data straight from the camera. The color settings seem to imply that some kind of processing is done to alter the color characteriztics of RAW files. Does anyone know how this works? Thanks.

The Raw settings are not applied until conversion. You can choose to use them or discard them and use new settings for WB, color space, sat, etc.
The settings as set in the camera are applied to the jpegs.

Thanks, Scott. That makes sense to me. I wonder if Capture One will work with the color profiles from Canon? I suspect (and hope) that they will. I REALLY like C1.
