There is a good deal on an 8GB card at mwave

http://www.mwave.com/mwave/skusearch.hmx?scriteria=ba23869

Mwave.com has the Transcend TS8GCF266 266x Ultra Hi-Speed 8GB CompactFlash Card for $94 + $7 shipping = $101 shipped. It'll blast your face with transfer rates of up to 40MB/s, covered by a lifetime warranty.

Just curious if anyone has this card? is it decent? or should i go with a sandisk or kingston.. i have the 4GB 1GB kingston pro and i love them they work great.. but as i was shooting chelsea the 4GB ran out... SOOO i dont want that to ever happen so i want to pull the trigger on an 8GB anyone got any suggestions or good deals

thanks :)

I just ordered a sandisk ultra III 8GB for $90 tax+shipping after rebate. At that price difference it would probably make sense to go with the fastest card. I do not know which has higher performance though.

I just ordered the Transcend 8GB 266X Card. I'm hoping that it's up to what it's said to be. Most reviews I've read, it's comparable to SanDisk's Extreme IV. I went with the 2 day shipping from mWave - so I paid a couple bucks more for that. Still; an 8GB card, up to 40MB/s (as long as it doesn't die quickly) - one can't go wrong for that price.
Considering I was suckered into buying an 8GB Seagate micro drive - I owe it to myself to get a flash card to make up the difference.
