Spent last weekend at Croft for the BARC Meeting, met up with Simon and Ken and was kept busy with plenty of action

The Legends always supply some top notch action

Giving it a bit of opposite lock

and kerb hopping

Some very close racing

I did say close racing

and one of the marshalls is saying "I don't believe you wanted to do that"

There was some Formula Renault also here getting a bit crossed up

The pickup trucks to add a splash of colour

and finally the main reason for being there the NSSCC boys with Arthur Robinson burning a bit of rubber

All taken with a 1DMKII and 300 f2.8 lens and maybe a convertor or two

Nice selection Ian. The kerb hopping Legend and a very sideways Arthur Robinson are the pick for me. What I would say is though that all of the shots posted highlight the importance of timing, and demonstrate it very effectively. Just about everyone shows the car sideways or with a wheel lifted which is definately not easy to do. Spot on.

Cheers,

Simon.

PS my mk I has less than a third of the actuations of your mk II

Cracking shots there Ian, those ledgend cars were pretty manic, they semed to love the gravel trap at the end of the start/finish straight didn't they !, I guess you were one of the lucky few inside the fences ?, how do you manage to get in there ?
