As another tool option for off-camera lighting, I'm considering the Avenger Pump Cup versus a light stand for flash trigger setups. I'd love to hear anyone's experiences with these...

Here's a photo. Does anyone know what kind of bracket is used in this photo that attaches the flash to the Pump Cup?

They are good.

Will hold a flash like that no problem on a non-porous surface.

I always like to back it up with a safety lanyard (either a steel cable or a spectra sling) because the suction mounts can sometimes release without warning.

Although those suction mounts do have a pressure indicator which can help.

I'm not sure what bracket that it. The hot shoe adaptor (silver metal part) looks like a Photoflex one, but the bracket looks like Avenger.
