NOOB Needs Help

Trying to learn and this is my best result yet. C&C Welcome. No PP, as is. Subject is from the 50's.
I find these difficult to get the shine correct where it looks almost wet.

That is a beautiful gun. I think I would put it on a less reflective surface.

More of a gray? Black seems to lose the image as I have tried that before.

I will try a blue or maybe smoked galss to add reflection.

My only complaint about your initial offering is that the blue trigger lock looks washed out.
